In the work Civilized Me, a surreal dinner is on display. A visual experience that critiques the way Western society is divided into the classification of civilization and nature. This civilization is enabled by Anthropocentric design, referring to the tools that are utilized by humans to appear civilized.

 

These tools only add to the distance humans have from nature. Tools that have become extensions of our bodies, tools that make it impossible to survive solely with our human bodies. Something organic non-human creatures are very good at.
